BEFORE BOOKING

Q: How do I start the process to book?

A: You first read these questions, these policies.(Disclaimer: read before you book) and then send us an email to daryanasbackyard@gmail.com .

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located 30 minutes east of beautiful Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Our address can be found in our email, on our Facebook page, on Google, on Instagram, on our website.

Q: What if I need to cancel my booking?

A: Please check our HERE.

Q: What constitutes a high demand/peak season?

A: All school breaks, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas. For more information, click HERE.

Q: Do you crate dogs?

A: It depends. We do crate dogs that are crate trained especially during the night, or for some reason needs to be separated (feeding times, overstimulated etc.).

Q: Is there an intake form?

A: Yes, we will send the intake form to you via email, after the deposit is paid.

Q: What resources do you have in place in case of an emergency?

A: We have protocols in place for different situations. Please reach out to me directly with your particular situation to daryanasbackyard@gmail.com.

Q: What service area do you cover?

A: For day care and boarding services, we proudly serve Highlands Ranch, Roxborough, Littleton, Parker, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Acres Green, Aurora, Castle Pines North, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, and Western Elbert county.

Q: What else should I bring?

A: We recommend bringing treats, leash, collar, the completed intake form, copy of the latest vaccination record, any possible medication.

Q: How do your dogs do with other dogs?

A: Bella and Skye loves interacting with visitors.

Q: Are there any dogs that you don’t accept?

A: We adhere to the local ordinances and requirements.

Q: Do you crate dogs?

A: It depends. We do crate dogs that are crate trained especially during the night, or for some reason needs to be separated (feeding times, overstimulated etc.).

Q: Do you accept senior dogs?

A: Yes, we have quite a few seniors in our care. There are a few forms we need to add to their intake package for liability purposes but also for immediate care if needed.

Q: What if I need to extend my day care?

A: Arrangements can be made. You may be charged for an overnight and may delay your pick -up time until the following day at 8am.

Q: Do I need a deposit to book with you?

Q: Is there a last-minute booking fee involved?

A: There is no extra fee, however, we may not be able to accommodate your last-minute request.

Q: Do you offer any other perks?

A: Yes. We offer Pawsome Perks Club benefits to all our customers and some extra perks to all our Very Important Dog (VID) members.

Q: What is the fee for giving my dog medication?

A: There is no additional fee.

Q: What’s the earliest pick up/drop off time that you allow?

A: We start our client interaction at 8am daily. Special efforts may be made for special situations on a case by case basis and availability. This may require a fee.

Q: Do you accept intact dogs?

A: Arrangements can be made. Same applies to females in heat. Reach out to us to daryanasbackyard@gmail.com to further discuss this.

Q: What if I need to add more days/visits to my original booking?

A: Please contact us at daryanasbackyard@gmail.com as soon as you know your plans changed; we will do everything possible to accommodate your request and/or find an alternative solution for your pooch.

Q: Why do I need a deposit?

A: We are a very small business and we get requests at all times. To secure your requested time frame, we will need a deposit to lock in the request. This will close the availability for that particular spot.

Q: Can I book “last minute”?

A: We can try to accommodate last minute requests, but it is not a guarantee we will be able to serve you. We suggest booking in advance as soon as you are planning your trip.

Q: Do you offer pick-ups and drop-offs?

A: Yes, we do, as part of our a-la-carte menu, for established clients only. See all our services HERE.

Q: What if my dog needs a daily injection?

A: This is a case by case situation.

Q: What’s the latest pickup/drop off time that you allow?

A: We stop our client interaction at 4pm daily. Special efforts may be made for different situations on a case by case requests and availability. This may require a fee.

Q: Do you provide food, or should I bring my own?

A: We strongly recommend to bring your own food in order to keep the dog on same formula and avoid any possible issues.

Q: Can somebody else pick up and/or drop-off my dog?

A: Only with prior written consent from the owner and a release of liability for Daryana’s Backyard if the dog leaves from our care.

Q: What should I not bring?

A: Toys, beds, bowls. We have all these to accommodate these needs.
